<p>PURPOSE:To positively retain creeping distance for assuring electrical insulation voltage between the lead wire of a primary side coil winding and a secondary side coil winding and between the lead wire of the primary side coil winding and a magnetic core by covering the secondary side coil winding wound around a coil bobbin with the coil cover of a resin case up to the lower edge of the plaque of the coil bobbin. CONSTITUTION:In the title transformer, a magnetic core where an EI-type magnetic core 4 is laid out vertically on a substrate packaging surface is laid out in vertical installation type. An I-type core 4a of the magnetic core 4 is inserted into a core insertion hole 2b of a coil bobbin 2, an U-type core 4b is assembled to the I-type core, and then the outer periphery of the E-type core and I-type core is fixed by a core holder 11.
