PURPOSE:To shorten the waiting time of the payment transaction and to improve the service to a user by parallely performing the paying processing and the processing of a host computer. CONSTITUTION:The reception processing S1 is performed by inserting a magnetic card and a passbook are inserted into a cash dispenser/automatic teller machine from a user. When a code number and transaction amount are inputted 32, the incoming telegram is sent to a host computer S3 and the processing on the payment transaction is performed. Then, the processing result is sent S4 as the outgoing telegram from the host computer and the discrimination S5 in executing the transaction is performed. On the other hand, as soon as the incoming telegram is sent, the paying processing S6 which counts the bill of the input amount is performed and the bill of the specific amount is counted. When the transaction is judged to be available based on the former result discrimination, the transaction contents are printed on the detained specification or the document and returned S10 to the user. Then, the magnetic card is returned S11. The counted bill is discharged S12 and the payment transaction is ended. |
