PURPOSE:To enable accurate and speedy transfer at a complicated transfer station where plural lines connect when a transfer ticket is used by retrieving and displaying transfer guidance information stored in the automatic ticket examination machine according to transfer information on the ticket. CONSTITUTION:When a user who makes a transfer to another line inserts the railroad ticket 22 into the reception slot of the automatic ticket examination machine, its magnetic recording contents are read out by used heads 1 and 2 and stored in a storage part 17. A main control part 11 decides whether or not the ticket is a transfer ticket 22 for transfer to a line of another company according to whether or not a transfer station code is recorded on the railroad ticket 22. When the decision result shows the transfer, the main control part 11 carries the railroad ticket 22 to the discharge opening and retrieves a transfer information file part 18 according to the transfer station code as the read information of the railroad ticket 22 and an installation station code held in the storage part 17 of the automatic ticket inspecting gate. The transfer information on a transfer line name, a transfer station name, and a platform number is obtained to display a transfer guidance at a PDP display part 16. |
