摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve detection precision by comparing a binary-coded area of a bright part or dark part in a designated section with the same area with no zinc powder adhered. CONSTITUTION:A transfer belt 1 transfers a transfer jig 2 of a cylindrical form having a bottom provided with a circular groove to contain a negative electrode device for a button-type battery. A CCD camera 8 takes a picture of a reflected image obtained when light is radiated from a ring-shaped light radiation member 9 to the jig 2 transferred by a belt 1. To an image processing device 5, refleced image data taken by the camera 8 at the time of signal inputting are inputted when signals are inputted from a controller 4, the image data are image-processed to let a center point coincide with a preliminarily determined reference point, a zone of the image data is designated to be a section equivalent to an insulation gasket, and the image data for this section are binary-numbered. Reference image data when zinc powder is not attached are inputted to the device 5 preliminarily. A picture element number of a bright part in the binary-numbered image data for the designated section is counted to determine the area of the bright part to be compared with the area of a bright part in the reference data.</p>
