PURPOSE:To supply toner by simple constitution by supplying the toner to a magnetic curtain formed between a developer tank and a toner tank according to the change of supply pressure from the developer tank. CONSTITUTION:In this developing device 30 provided with the developer tank 34A storing two-component developer and the toner tank 34B storing the toner; the fixed magnetic curtain is formed between the developer tank 34A and the toner tank 34B, and the toner is supplied to the magnetic curtain according to the change of the supply pressure from the developer tank 34A. The magnetic curtain is formed of a fixed magnet body 37 and a turning magnetic bar 38. In such a case, a developer carrier is constituted of a developing sleeve 31 and a magnet roll 32, and the flux density of the N and S magnetic poles of the roll 32 is not made the same. By making the flux density of the magnetic pole opposed to a photoreceptor 10 larger than the flux density of other N and S magnetic poles, developing is stably performed, and the developer D is excellently carried by providing fine ruggedness on the surface of the sleeve 31. |
