PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency in preparing documents by providing plural types of dictionaries in the storage part of the word processor. CONSTITUTION:A dictionary data part 3 is stored in a storage part and a dictionary data retrieval part 2 is a function constructed by the operation of a processing part which is controlled according to the program stored in a storage part. The dictionary data part 3 is retrieved and the data directed with keywords inputted from the input part is sent to a dictionary data display part 4. The part 4 is a function constructed by the operation of the processing part which is controlled according to the program stored in the storage part and displays the data sent from the dictionary data part 3 on the dictionary window of the display device 1. Various types of dictionary windows are displayed hierarchically with a character preparation window. |
