PURPOSE:To provide a computer resource management device in a network capable of making computers whose specifications are different, look like all the same and operating them from one desk top GUT. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of an instruction reception part 11 for receiving resource utilization requests from the desktop GUI, a resource information management book 12 for registering resource information on the computer, a resource information management part 13 for managing the resource information of the resource information management book 12 and an instruction transmission part 14 for returning a result to the utilization request to the desk top GUI and is provided respectively in all the computers on the network. Any utilization requests from the desk top GUI are received by the computer resource management devices of the computers provided 7 with requested resources, the request is interpreted and executed in the computer resource management device and the result is transmitted to a request side. |
