<p>PURPOSE:To enhance aseismatic strength and mechanical strength that low cost by forming an epoxy seat of an epoxy resin and providing a lower flange part. CONSTITUTION:The upper part 63 of an epoxy seat 6 having a through hole 61 in the cable insulator 1 is set in a bushing 3 while abutting on the outer periphery of a premold insulator 5 and the inner space of the bushing 3 is filled with an insulation compound 4. The epoxy seat 6 is provided, at the lower part thereof, with a flange part 64 for receiving the bushing 3 and the flange part 64 is secured through an O-ring 17 to the lower metal 9 of bushing so that the insulation compound 4 does not leak to the lower part of the bushing 3. Since the conventional metal flange part requiring one half or more of the cost of epoxy seat 6 is made of an epoxy resin, the cost of the epoxy seat 6 can be reduced. Furthermore, since no supporting insulator is required, aseismatic strength is enhanced, crack and exfoliation are eliminated, and the electric and mechanical performances are enhanced.</p> |
