PURPOSE:To send a message from a calling subscriber who is not well versed in language to a called pager subscriber by dialing a language specification number by the calling subscriber together with a fixed form message index number when the calling subscriber makes a request for calling. CONSTITUTION:A main storage device 6 in a paging exchange 3 is provided with a multilingual fixed form message storage part 8. The calling subscriber 1 specifies a calling number, the routine message index number, and the language specification number at the same time. When this pager subscriber 2 is called, a central control unit 5 extracts a fixed form message of the specified language from the multilingual fixed form message storage part 8 by using the routine message index number and language specification number as retrieval keys, and transfers the message to the pager subscriber 2, so that the message is displayed on the paging terminal. |
