发明名称 SOLAR CELL AND ITS MANUFACTURE
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase transmission light quantity and improve conversion efficiency, by using structure wherein a light absorbing layer composed of P-type semiconductor, a window layer composed of N-type semiconductor whose main part is CdSe-MnSe solid solution having MnSe composition ratio is specific % or larger, and a transparent conductive layer are formed on a substrate on which an electrode layer is formed or on a metal substrate. CONSTITUTION:On a glass substrate 1 on which a Pt electrode layer is formed, a light absorbing layer 2 composed of P-type semiconductor whose main part is dTe is deposited and formed. On the surface of the layer 2, a window layer 3 composed of N-type semiconductor whose main part is Cd-Se-MnSe solid solution having MnSe composition ratio larger than or equal to 40mol%, and a transparent conductive layer 4 are formed. Since the band gap of CdSe-MnSe solid solution is wide as compared with CdSe, the quantity of light passing the window layer is increased, and the quantity of light absorbed by the light absorbing layer of P-type semiconductor is increased, so that the efficiency of a solar cell can be improved.
