PURPOSE:To provide an electronic musical instrument in which a musical tone can be prevented from being interrupted even when preferential processing is applied to playing information. CONSTITUTION:A playing information event is stored at every priority, and an event with high priority is read out sequentially, and is processed. Also, a priority event processing flag is set when the priority of the event is high when key-on event processing is performed. When key-off event processing is performed and the priority of the event is low and also, the priority event processing flag is set (690-N, 700-Y), i.e., a key-on event with high priority generated later is processed preferentially and after that, a key-off event with low priority generated previously is processed, the key-off event is deleted. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the musical tone generated by the key-on event processing with high priority from being deleted by the processing of the key-off event with low priority. |
