<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method for synchronized starting of a synchronous motor by using a turbine generator when the generator has a capacity similar to the synchronous motor and is located closely to the motor. CONSTITUTION:A circuit breaker 12 is opened, a synchronous motor 2 is excited while it is rotated and a low voltage is generated at a low speed, a turbine 6 is driven by a main steam line 8, a voltage as same as that of the synchronous motor 2 is generated by a generator 7 and both of them are connected together, the speed of rotation of the synchronous motor 2 is increased by the steam of the main steam line 8 while maintaining the speed of rotation of the synchronous motor 2 by the steam from an auxiliary steam line 9, it is switched to a system power source when it reaches a synchronous speed, the breaker 12 is opened and then the synchronous motor 2 can be started in synchronization by the turbine generator.</p> |
