PURPOSE:To provide a light distribution pattern for the right side traffic or for the left side traffic by selecting the point on which a shade piece is formed by forming a projection pattern common to the light distribution patterns for the right side traffic and for the left side traffic with regards to a low beam by means of a reflecting mirror. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting surface of a reflecting mirror 4 is divided into a region above a horizontal surface including the main optical axis and a region 18 below this region. Of the latter region, a filament image formed by a region 18CRU, etc., in the vicinity of the horizontal surface including the main optical axis of the reflecting mirror contributes to the formation of a tilted cut line and a horizontal cut line. The projection pattern of the reflecting mirror 4 is a horizontally symmetric pattern having the tilted cut lines and the horizontal cut lines on the respective sides. The unnecessary tilted cut line for a distribution pattern for right side traffic or left side traffic is removed by forming a shade piece 13 on the shade 6 covering the front or front side part of a bulb. |
