This is a toy enabling two players to strike a ball in turn, the aim being to make the ring rise or descend to the last turn of the spring. It consists of a foot (5) on which is welded a force bar (11) enabling the toy to be driven into the ground, of a sleeve (4) whose height can be adjusted by virtue of positioning holes, of a spring (2) &tilde& turns making it possible to guide the ball (10)/string (9)/ring (8) assembly in rotation, of an end cap (1) serving as an upper stop for the ring (8). The various parts (2) in (1), (2) in (3), (3) in (4) and (5) in (6) are slipped into one another and tightened up. This device is intended particularly for adults and children from ten years of age. <IMAGE>
