Sliding stud for moving loads, especially furniture, comprising a cup (1) containing an elastomeric body (2) having a seat (3) for a plug (4) having a means (5) for fixing it underneath a piece of furniture that is to be moved, the stud being characterised in that the plug (4) and its recess (3) are of corresponding generally cylindrical shape and in that the plug (4) is made of a synthetic material, not necessarily elastic, and has lateral projections (41) which fit into lateral steps (31) formed in the seat (3) in order to act as reversible means of assembly. <IMAGE>
