PURPOSE:To prevent insulation from deteriorating and breaking down due to ozone at partial discharge by protecting a charge part by an organic insulating protector, and providing an inorganic insulator for preventing an electric breakdown of the protector due to a partial discharge in the charge part. CONSTITUTION:A terminal block of a lamp socket has a charge part 1, inorganic insulator 2 and a protector 3. The charge part 1, to which an electric wire is connected, is formed with a pair of connecting terminals comprising a U-shaped terminal board 4 and a lock spring 5 arranged in the terminal board 4. The protector 3, which is organic insulation of thermoplastic resin or the like, comprises storage parts 7 for storing the charge part 1, body 10 having electric wire inserting holes 8 and an opening 9 and a cover 11 for covering the opening 9 of the body 10. A storage groove 12 for storing the inorganic insulator 2 between the storage parts is provided in the body 10. Corresponding to this storage groove, a recessed part 13 is formed in also the cover 11. The inorganic insulator 2 prevents the protector 3 from its electric breakdown due to a partial discharge in the charge part 1. |
