<p>PURPOSE:To unnecessitate an exclusive motor for moving reel bases to reel positions for plural tape cassettes which are loaded selectively and have different dimensions. CONSTITUTION:At the time of transporting a tape, the rotation force of a capstan 8 is transferred to a reel base gear 22 or 23 via an intermediate gear 17, a belt 18, a reel base driving gear 5 and a swing gear 6 to drive rotatively a reel base 24 or 25. Reel shafts 28 and 29 are engaged with groove parts 31 and 32 on a chassis and at the same time are inserted through guiding long holes 37 and 38 in a slide connecting plate 35. At the time of movements of reel bases 24 and 25 from a large-sized cassette position to a sail-sized cassette position, a rack part 42 is engaged with a reel base gear 22 and at the same time a protruding part 44 is detached from a reel shaft 28 by the rotation of a changeover arm 40. The reel shaft 28 is moved along the groove 31 togather with the slide connecting plate 35 resisting to a spring 39 by the rotation of the reel base gear 22 owing to the capstan 8 and at the same time the reel shaft 29 is also moved along the groove 32 via the slid connecting plate 35.</p> |
