PURPOSE:To provide surface mounting components in which generation of a Manhattan phenomenon is prevented. CONSTITUTION:Respective terminals to be provided on both ends of the component main body 1 are formed only of the bottom exposed pieces 2a in the shape of a flat board arranged on both end bottoms of the component main body 1 opposed to a wiring board. Accordingly, in case of soldering the terminals 2 to the curing board, a so-called Manhattan phenomenon, where one end of the component main body 1 is raised, can be prevented because surface tension of molten solder acting on the end part side of the component main body 1 does not exceed. |
