Divided seat bench for a vehicle

A description is given of a divided seat bench for a vehicle, in particular for a motor cycle, in which it is possible to remove and secure the two seat-bench parts separately from one another. They are secured by central locking which is controlled via a central lock. When the seat-bench part intended for the passenger has been removed, that part of the vehicle body which lies beneath it is used as an extended luggage bridge or storage area. This storage area may be provided with a cover closing a container lying therebelow for tools and the like. By means of a separate closing piston, this cover can likewise be locked via the central lock when the seat-bench part has been removed.
