摘要 The permanent magnets (1) of the permanent magnet arrangement are in each case mounted individually such that they can rotate about their centre axis (5) parallel to the common system centre axis (2). The rotation of all permanent magnets (1) is synchronised such that adjacent permanent magnets rotate in the opposite direction with respect to one another in order to change the intensity of the multipole field or in the same direction as one another in order to change the direction of the multipole field in the interior (4). The centre axes (5) of the permanent magnets (1) are parallel to the system centre axis (2). In this way, the fields of permanent magnets of the same shape and size can easily be compensated for in the case of such a permanent magnet arrangement, with the arrangement having a simple construction. The intensity of the field in the interior or the multipole moment can vary continuously by mutual rotation of the magnets. All the rotations can easily be coupled by means of toothed pinion wheels which engage in one another and are fitted on the magnet shafts, underneath the permanent magnets. Rotation of all magnets in the same direction can also be used to change the field direction. <IMAGE>
