Puzzle-type game wherein the underside of each puzzle piece is covered with an electrically conducting layer. The pieces are joined on a support (10) with a shape identical to that of the plate to be reconstructed using the pieces and including virtual locations (12, 14, 16) corresponding to the pieces. Each of the locations is connected to two other locations through an electrically conducting link (18 or 20) except for two terminal locations (22, 24), each connected to a single location to form an electrically conducting circuit joining all the locations between the terminal locations when the pieces have been joined on said support. The circuit so formed is closed by a battery (28) and a sensory effect-producing element (34) which is activated by the current supplied by said battery when all the pieces have been correctly joined on the support.
