Method for regenerating and stabilising cyanide silver-tin baths

Cyanide silver-tin baths which contain tin(II) compounds as a source of tin and are used for electrodeposition of silver-tin alloys can be regenerated and stabilised if they are admixed with water-soluble reductants (reducing agents) whose redox potentials in alkaline solution are more negative than -0.93 volt.
