摘要 A fault detection device for an antislip brake control system of a motor vehicle has a main microcomputer for generating a hydraulic pressure control signal for the control of an actuating element, which is designed for the generation of braking forces, which are to be applied to wheels of the motor vehicle, a secondary microcomputer for detecting the occurrence of a fault in the main microcomputer on the basis of the hydraulic pressure control signal, a test signal generating device, which is provided in the main microcomputer or the secondary microcomputer for the generation of a test signal, an antislip brake control arithmetic device in the main microcomputer for generating a hydraulic pressure control signal on the basis of a wheel speed signal or the test signal, and a hydraulic pressure control signal monitoring device, which is provided in the secondary microcomputer, in order to monitor the hydraulic pressure signal generated in response to the test signal, in order thereby to check the validity of the hydraulic pressure control signal. An antislip brake control system provided with a self diagnostic function can thus be made available at low cost.
