The present invention relates to a helmet, especially a cyclist's helmet, made of plastic and a process for producing it. In order to provide a plastic helmet which can be made at a greatly reduce manufacturing cost but is highly stress resistant, it is proposed that the helmet be double-walled (2, 3) and of blown plastic. In addition, means are to be provided for stiffening the walls (2, 3) of the helmet (1) in the event of compressive stress, which may preferably consists of apertures (e.g. 30). |
