The invention relates to a groundwater sampling and measuring system with which groundwater samples as well as physical, chemical and geophysical measured values can be obtained from exactly defined depths. The system consists of an elastic or inelastic packer tube (1) of any length. The packer tube (1) is of modular or continuous construction, is closed pressure-tight at the underside by a closure element (2), and is pressed against the borehole wall (5) by means of fluid overdamming (3) relative to the groundwater level (4) or a gas, under increased pressure, inside the packer tube (1) so that the borehole (12) is completely or partly filled and enables groundwater samples to be taken at exact depths and measurements of physical, chemical and geophysical parameters to be recorded. The groundwater sampling set-up (8) and measuring set-up (7), connected to the packer tube outer wall via inlet openings (6) or sensors (7), can be located within the packer tube (1) or outside the packer or in a combination of the two and permits sampling and recording of measured values simultaneously or one after the other at the depths to be tested individually. <IMAGE>
