Shoe of the type comprising a sole (3), with the front portion having a degree of mobility in relation to the rear portion and comprising an element (6) for stiffening the sole (3) disposed substantially on its longitudinal axis. According to the invention, the stiffening element (6) is shaped to give relative rigidity to the sole (3) on a transversal horizontal axis, along which is effected the front-rear bending movement of the sole (3), and on the longitudinal axis of the latter, about which is effected the twisting movement of the front portion in relation to the rear portion, while enabling the front portion in relation to the rear portion, while enabling the front portion to pivot in relation to the rear portion about a vertical axis located substantially in the region of the foot's calcaneocuboid articulation. |
