<p>The apparatus includes a glazing device 60 having an elongate roller conveyor 62 for delivery of a window frame 10 between a glass panel fitting station 69, a frame alignment device 70 and a sealing station 90. A frame is mounted on the conveyor, glass panes mounted in the frame and the glazed frame delivered along the conveyor to the alignment device, jaws (72, 73 Fig. 11) of which engage opposite sides of the frame to square it and then the panes are rigidly secured on the frame to fix the frame in the correctly aligned position. Each jaw is movable between an operative frame engaging position and a release position away from the frame to allow insertion and removal of the frame from the device. Downstream of the alignment device glazing strips are fitted to the frame to seal between the glass panes and the frame. <IMAGE></p> |
