PURPOSE:To obtain a deflection coil which is capable of obtaining excellent picture quality by providing a capacitor or a thin conductive member or a subcoil against a deflection coil to cancel a ringing magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:Against capacities DELTAC and DELTAC' corresponding to the difference of distributed capacities generated in the starting side and the ending side of winding in the upper coil 10a and the lower coil 10b of a horizontal coil 10, a capacitor 11 and a capacitor 12 having capacities CX and CX' equivalent to the capacities DELTAC and DELTAC' are connected between an intermediate tap 10c and the starting side of winding in the upper coil 10a and the lower coil 10b. Whereby, the distributed capacities in the coils 10a and 10b is balanced through the whole and raster ringing is reached. Or a thin conductive member 13 is adhered to the central neighborhood from the starting side of winding of the coils to reduce the raster ringing. Or a plurality of subcoils 14 which are electri cally connected with each other are provided against the horizontal coil 10 to reduce the raster ringing. |
