A clamp (20) is provided for affixing a rubber skirt (19) to a steel skirt plate (17) of a conveyor. The clamp (20) comprises a captive locking member (26) which cannot be lost or separated from the clamp. The clamp body comprises two lugs, between which a pin (25) extends. The locking plate (26) contains a slot with at least one ramp face (29). The pin (25) passes through this slot, thus capturing the locking plate (26) to the clamp (20). In use, a hole (31) in a clamp plate (30) is passed over the extended locking plate (26) in position A. Locking plate (26) is rotated 90 DEG to position B, whereafter it is moved such that ramp face (29) wedges under pin (25), thus locking clamp plate (30) in the desired position. <IMAGE> |
