<p>PURPOSE:To surely obtain a desired recognition result by instructing a correction unless the intended recognition result is obtained and generating handwriting having segmentation matching the correction instruction. CONSTITUTION:If a character 'ten' shown in a figure is inputted although a character 'dai' should be inputted, it is decided that the input instructs the correction of character segmentation and if it is decided that the recognition result matching the correction instruction is not obtained, the handwriting having the character segmentation matching the correction instruction is generated. Namely, a CPU sections the character segmentation again at this time corresponding to the correction instruction, reads handwriting corresponding to the corrected character segmentation out of a handwriting data base, and decides it as handwriting included in this character segmentation. Through the character recognition of this, a recognition result as the character 'dai' is obtained.</p> |
