PLASTIC HERMETIC SEAL STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To provide high impact-resistance and sealability in the structure of a plastic hermetic seal, and also to manufacture it at low cost by dispensing with high-temperature treatment. CONSTITUTION:A plastic hermetic seal is constituted in such a way that a taper-shaped barlike metallic body 3 on the outer circumferential surface of which recessed parts 3a have been formed is inserted into the hole 2 formed in a plastic member 1 and having a tapered inner circumferentical surface, and the circumference of the opening having a small diameter hole is pressed in the axial direction of the hole so as to cause plastic deformation to the plastic member 1, so that the parts 1a subjected to plastic deformation intrude into the recessed parts 3a to form connecting parts, and also to form sealing parts.
