<p>PURPOSE:To realize independent protective control of individual generator while reduc ing the number of current transformers by classifying the current transformers into those belonging to the collector side and those belonging to the turbine side and effecting centralized protection and measurement at each generator protector. CONSTITUTION:The protective controller for generator in business power plant comprises a current transformer 12 for measuring the output current from a generator, a voltage transformer 6 for measuring the output voltage from the generator, an excitation controller 11 connected with the voltage transformer 6 and controlling the output voltage from the generator, an operating board 7 for operating/monitoring the generator based on the output signals from the current transformer 12 and the voltage transformer 6, a generator protective unit 8 for protecting and controlling the operation of the generator, and a generator recorder 9 for recording the operation and transmitting the record. The generator protective unit comprises double system, i.e., system A and system B, wherein the current transformers 12 are distributed to the collector side and the turbine side thus effecting centralized protection and measurement at each generator protector.</p> |
