PURPOSE:To enable comfortable air conditioned environment to be always attained at an indoor area in all four seasons by a method wherein a cassette type air conditioner is installed at a ceiling of a room and desired cooling or heating air is fed into the room through an operation of a damper. CONSTITUTION:In summer, a suction blower F1 is operated with dampers D1 and D3 closed and a damper D2 opened, thereby indoor air flows from a suction port 2 into a heat exchanging chamber (c) through a suction air blowing passage (a). The air is cooled with a cold water coil 7 and then circulated to cool the room. In the case that the surrounding air is required in concurrent with feeding of cooling air in response to indoor environment at an intermediate season or in winter season, each of blowers F1 to F3 is operated, the dampers D1 and D3 are opened and the damper D2 is closed, thereby fresh surrounding outdoor air passes from a surrounding air feeding inlet port 11 through a surrounding air feeding passage (g) in concurrent with feeding of indoor air, passes through a heat exchanging chamber (c) while merging with a part of the indoor air, its air volume is distributed by a plenum chamber (e) into four directions and then the fresh surrounding cold air is fed from the blowing-out port 3. |
