PURPOSE:To prevent free performance from being hindered by preventing an influence upon relations between a depressed key and the pitch of the musical sound generated correspondingly to this key with respect to the change width of the pitch due to pitch change information at the time of changing the pitch of musical sounds by pitch change information like bender information or vibrato information. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a key follow coefficient generating means 5 which generates a key follow coeffient which determines relations between the musical sound designated by performance information for designation of the musical sound to be generated and the pitch of the generated musical sound, a conversion means which converts performance information for designation of the musical sound to be generated to pitch data based on the key follow coefficient generated by the key follow coefficient generating means 5, and a pitch data control means which reflects pitch change information on pitch data converted by the conversion means independently on the key follow coefficient generated by the key follow coefficient generating means 5. |
