PURPOSE:To provide a ball breakage recognition system capable of automatic recognition and providing good operating efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A ball breakage recognition system has a forcibly tilting means 27 which, when a ball 15 is recognized as being defective, forcibly tilts a rolling member 5 so that a defective outlet 12 is below a nondefective outlet 9, and one ball 15 is supplied from a ball supply means 17 to the ball setting portion 11 of the rolling member 5, and when the ball 15 is nondefective the rolling member 5 is tilted so that the nondefective outlet 9 is below the defective outlet 12, and the nondefective ball 15 is discharged out of the nondefective outlet 9. When the nondefective outlet 9 is not located below the defective outlet 12 even if the ball 15 is supplied, the ball 15 is recognized as being defective, and the rolling member 5 is forcibly tilted by the forcibly tilting means 27 so that the defective outlet 12 is below the nondefective outlet 9, and the ball 15 recognized as being defective is discharged out of the defective outlet 12. |
