PURPOSE: To provide a fuse made of a thermoplastic material with a lessened number of part items through a simplified assembling process. CONSTITUTION: This fuse 10 comprises an insulating housing, a terminal extended through a gap in a bottom part of the housing, and a fusible element 18 having end parts connected to both ends of the terminal 16. The housing comprises a box 12 having a closed top part, an opened bottom part, and four side faces and a cover 14 smaller than the opened bottom part of the box 12 to close the opened bottom part of the box 12 and two gaps 30 are formed in both end parts of the bottom of the housing when the cover 14 is closed. |
