PURPOSE: To provide an easy to assemble transportation shield ensuring safety transportation of a fragile glass or glass ceramic panel susceptible to scratching and breaking being built in a cooking utensil especially as a cooking plane without producing waste, e.g. separator, at the time of unpackaging. CONSTITUTION: A transportation shield, i.e., silicon cushion materials 1, 3, is applied to the outer bottom or fringe of the cooking plane region 2 of a glass ceramic panel 4. The transportation shield is bonded permanently to the panel and left, as it is, even when a cooking utensil is fixed to a frame, assembled or operated and arranged to act as a protector at the time of fixing, an auxiliary positioning tool, a separator, an elongation compensating medium, and/or a seal member, and/or an access window forming member of a molded panel. |
