PURPOSE:To use a redial function properly by giving a toll number stored in a toll number storage means to a number inputted from an input means and storing the result when a discrimination means discriminates that no toll number is provided. CONSTITUTION:Upon the input of a telephone number from a key input section 14, a portable telephone set 1 set in the dialing mode discriminates whether the inputted telephone number is a number provided with a toll number or a telephone set not requiring any toll number. When no toll number is provided and the telephone number is not a telephone number requiring the toll number, the toll number is provided to the head of the inputted telephone number and the result is registered in dial memory 18. As a result, when the telephone set moves to an area with a different toll number from that of an area when the radial number is registered in the memory 18 and the redial function of the telephone set 1 is used, dialing is surely made to a destination of the redial number. Thus, the utility of the redial function is improved. |
