PURPOSE:To translate an original language sentence into the objective language sentence of appropriate constitution even if a clause which is not directly connected to a predicate is included in the original language sentence. CONSTITUTION:The original language sentence inputted from an input part 1 is analyzed into original language structure mentioned by a modification relation by referring to an analysis dictionary 6 in an analysis part 2. Then, it is converted into the expression pattern of the objective language by referring to an expression translation dictionary 7 in a conversion part 3. Then, the objective language sentence is generated based on the objective language expression pattern by referring to a generation dictionary 8 in a generation part 4, and it is outputted from an output part 5. The expression pattern of the original language mentioned by the tree structure of more than three stages and the expression pattern of the objective language corresponding to the expression pattern are previously registered in the expression translation dictionary 7. The conversion part 3 collates original language structure mentioned by tree structure of more than three stages with the original language expression pattern by using the expression translation dictionary 7, and converts it into the corresponding objective language expression pattern. |
