PURPOSE:To obtain a high voltage switching circuit which gives a certain boosted voltage over a wide supply voltage range. CONSTITUTION:This high voltage switching circuit is provided with a reference clock generating circuit 1, a clock drive circuit 2, a reference voltage generating circuit 4, a path gate circuit 3 to which the reference voltage is applied and which generates an amplitude limited clock signal, and a high voltage switch circuit 7 which is pumped by the clock signal. Since clock signals CP and CPB which have a high drive power and have the amplitudes limited so as not to exceed a certain voltage in the case of a high supply voltage are used as the clock signal which drives the high voltage switching circuit 7, the stable and certain boosted voltage can be generated over a wide supply voltage range, and further, the high voltage switching circuit superior in reliability is obtained. |
