PURPOSE:To surely receive an incoming call to a cordless telephone set even when the cordless telephone set moves in a radio zone. CONSTITUTION:In the cordless key telephone system provided with a master device, a base station in wired connection to the master device, and a cordless telephone set in radio channel connection to a base station, the master device is provided with radio zone storage means 13, 14 storing plural radio zones highly possible of the presence of a cordless telephone set and an incoming call start signal transmission means 16 sending an incoming call start signal from the base station forming a radio zone stored in the radio zone storage means, the cordless telephone set is provided with a discrimination means discriminating a reception level of the incoming call start signal outputted from the base station and a connection radio zone decision means deciding the radio zone to be connected based on the result of discrimination by the discrimination means. When an incoming call comes to the cordless telephone set, the incoming call start signal is sent not only to the base station of the radio zone registered for the position of the cordless telephone set but also the radio zone base station around it and the cordless telephone set is connected to the base station whose reception level reaches a reference level. |
