PURPOSE:To provide an automatic player which reproduces sounds while effectively using musical notes and rests in the preceding bar at the time of return reproducing from the head of a bar. CONSTITUTION:At the time of automatic performance, the time length in music data stored in a read register (CH) is subtracted to execute a command of music data at each time of the elapse of the time corresponding to a ninety-sixth note; and if the command is a note or a rest having time length data, the time length is stored in the read register (CH) and a sound source is operated (steps T1 to T12). This operation is performed for each sound emission channel, and a beat register HR is incremented at each beat (steps T13 to T17). When the time corresponding to one bar elapses, values of address counters AD (0) to (N) and the time length in the read register (CH) are stored in a bar register B (M) with respect to each channel (steps T18 to T21), and return reproducing is performed based on data stored in this read register (CH) when being indicated. |
