PURPOSE:To provide an automatic exposure device for a camera having both of the latitude of arithmetic storage type evaluation photometry and the exposure strobe light controlling characteristic with the high sensitivity of TTL direct photometry. CONSTITUTION:The automatic exposure device is provided with plural photodetectors 100 and 101 whose light receiving areas are different, a photoelectric current weighing means 102 weighing the photoelectric currents generated by the photodetectors 100 and 101 so that the photoelectric currents have almost the same current value in the same luminance without being affected by the light receiving area ratios, an integrating means 102 integrating a current without being affected by the light receiving area ratio as the exposure of an object and an integration completion detecting means 104 detecting as to whether the current is integrated by a specific amount by the integrating means 103 or not and indicating the completion of the exposure when the current is integrated by a specific amount. |
