PURPOSE:To control an operation of an indoor blower during a cooling operation and restrict occurrence of odor of daily life by a method wherein a driving of the indoor blower is kept stopped until a temperature of a heat exchanger becomes less than a set temperature. CONSTITUTION:As a cooling operation is started at an air conditioner, an operation of a compressor is started, a temperature of a heat exchanger measured by a heat exchanger temperature measuring means 11 is checked by a first temperature comparing means 13 whether or not it reaches a set temperature (for example, 16 deg.C) stored and set in a set temperature memory means 12 and then an operation of the indoor blower is stopped by an indoor blower driving and stopping means 14 until the temperature is less than the set temperature. With such an arrangement as above, dew formation occurs rapidly at the surfaces of fins, dew formation water flows out and odor of daily life is melted in the dew formation water, resulting in that it has an effect of restricting occurrence of odor of daily life.
