<p>PURPOSE:To provide an FMCW radar in which distance resolution is improved. CONSTITUTION:The FMCW radar comprises a voltage controlled oscillator 2 for generating a transmission wave frequency-modulated by a triangular wave, a transmission antenna 5 for transmitting the generated wave to an object 50, and a correction bias voltage generator 1 for generating a triangular wave corrected by an inverse function of bias voltage-to-frequency characteristics of the oscillator 2, wherein the transmission wave is generated via the corrected triangular wave thereby to improve a frequency linearity of the oscillator 2 and to resultantly improve distance resolution.</p> |
