<p>PURPOSE:To provide a touch panel in which an auxiliary electrode for automatically changing a reference voltage corresponding to the change of a resistance value, and always obtaining correct position information is provided without narrowing an input effective area. CONSTITUTION:Resistance members 1 and 2 respectively equipped with main electrodes 3a, 3b and 5a, 5b at the both ends, in which a potential gradient is formed to a main axial direction by the main electrodes, are arranged with a clearance so that main axes called as X axes and Y axes can cross at right angles. Also, auxiliary electrodes 4a and 4b, and 6a and 6b whose electrode width is narrower than that of the main electrodes 3a and 3b, and 5a and 5b are arranged on the extended lines of the main electrodes 3a, 3b and 5a, 5b on the resistance members 1 and 2 so as to be separated from the main electrodes 3a, 3b and 5a, 5b.</p> |
