SNOW DROPPER FOR TRANSMISSION LINE AND SHIELD RING AT END OF SPIRAL ROD

摘要

PURPOSE:To eliminate electrical trouble in the neighborhood by preventing the generation of visible corona from the tip of a long loose spiral rod. CONSTITUTION:A shield ring 10 is provided at the tip 2a of along loose spiral rod 2 wound around a wire 1. The shield ring 10 comprises a metal clamp 12 fixed to the wire 1 and a pair of U-shaped metallic members 11 extending from the clamp 12 to the outside of the spiral rod 2 along the wire 1. This structure prevents the generation of visible corona from the tip 2a of the spiral rod.
