PURPOSE: To guarantee the transmission of data elements with at least one prescribed service quality between computers by constituting a multilayered computer communication network. CONSTITUTION: An OSI reference model constituting a multilayered computer network is composed of five layers of a first layer (physical layer OSI1) 56, a second layer (data link layer OSI2) 54, a third layer (network layer OSI3) 52, a fourth layer (transport layer OSI4) 50, and a fifth layer (session layer OSI5) 48. In addition, the model is provided with an IEEE model composed of a physical layer 46, etc., an adapter card 62, 35. Therefore, when a system discriminates a multimedia transmission request requesting a guaranteed service quality, a new session is established through calling and changing. Namely, in order to attain the desired service quality guarantee, such as the high P5 priority, etc., the next session which operates in high priority is provided.
