PURPOSE: To enable cleaning a mixer at an operating position by inserting a hydraulically driven cleaning tool into an inlet mixer via a secondary inlet opening, and ejecting high-pressure water to the inner surface thereof. CONSTITUTION: After the azimuth and direction of axis of a fixture 2 are determined by a positioning tool, a nozzle cleaning tool/fixture assembly 6 is lowered to the position of the fixture 2 by a chucking hook 128, and the hook 128 is hooked to the lifting eye of a low-pressure coolant inlet adapter 142. Next, a nozzle cleaning tool 130 is accurately inserted into a guide slot 134 in a fixture 132 via a secondary inlet opening up to the cleaning position (position of the continuous line) of an inlet mixer 46, and the cleaning head 144 of the tool 130 is positioned beneath a nozzle section 52. Then high-pressure water supplied by an ultrahigh pressure water hose 144 is ejected to the inner surface of the mixer 46 as the head 144 is rotated, and deposited scales are removed by the impact thereof.
