PREPARATION OF COMPLEX CONDUCTOR OF METAL / HIGH CRITICAL TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTOR

PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a composite conductor comprising metal/high critical temperature superconductor which is one composite sheet produced by arranging two layers; a metal based layer and a superconductor-based layer having a high critical temperature. CONSTITUTION: A superconductor material or its precursor powder is coagulated using an organic binder by a heating calendar as to obtain a paste for forming a flexible plastisizing band 2 in a first step. The flexible plastisizing band is joined to a band 3 made of a material suitable for the superconductor material by compressing or simultaneous rolling in a second step. Heat treatment of the resultant material is carried out in a third step.
